Project Description

Waterproofing is a critical component in construction, ensuring that structures remain protected from water ingress, which can lead to structural damage, mold growth, and reduced lifespan. At Everest Heights, a comprehensive waterproofing system was implemented across the foundation, basement walls, and rooftop.

🧱 Scope of Work

  • Foundation Waterproofing:
Applied a two-layer bituminous membrane over the concrete base, followed by a protective screed.
  • Basement Wall Sealing:
Used a combination of crystalline waterproofing slurry and drainage boards to prevent lateral water seepage.
  • Rooftop Waterproofing:
Installed a torch-applied bituminous membrane with UV-resistant coating for long-term durability.

🧰 Materials & Techniques

  • Bituminous Membranes (Torch-Applied)
  • Crystalline Waterproofing Compounds
  • Polyurethane Sealants
  • Protective Screed and Drainage Boards

📈 Benefits Achieved

  • 100% water-tightness in post-installation testing
  • Increased structural durability and reduced maintenance costs
  • Enhanced indoor air quality by preventing mold and dampness
