Everest Heights Residential Complex
Water Proofing

Project Description
Waterproofing is a critical component in construction, ensuring that structures remain protected from water ingress, which can lead to structural damage, mold growth, and reduced lifespan. At Everest Heights, a comprehensive waterproofing system was implemented across the foundation, basement walls, and rooftop.
🧱 Scope of Work
- Foundation Waterproofing:
Applied a two-layer bituminous membrane over the concrete base, followed by a protective screed. - Basement Wall Sealing:
Used a combination of crystalline waterproofing slurry and drainage boards to prevent lateral water seepage. - Rooftop Waterproofing:
Installed a torch-applied bituminous membrane with UV-resistant coating for long-term durability.
🧰 Materials & Techniques
- Bituminous Membranes (Torch-Applied)
- Crystalline Waterproofing Compounds
- Polyurethane Sealants
- Protective Screed and Drainage Boards
📈 Benefits Achieved
- 100% water-tightness in post-installation testing
- Increased structural durability and reduced maintenance costs
- Enhanced indoor air quality by preventing mold and dampness
